Use A Memory Foam Mattress Pad To Get A Good Night’s Sleep

Not getting a good night’s sleep can be detrimental to your health. Many people boast and brag about how they can survive on 4 or 5 hours of sleep. Some people claim they only need 3 hours of sleep to be functional, while others stay awake for days at a time due to working. The truth of the matter is that these people probably aren’t able to get a good night’s rest due to their mattress being totally uncomfortable. They should look into getting a memory foam mattress pad to help them sleep better, even if it is for 5 or so hours a night.

Now let’s get down to the truth about the importance of sleeping. If you find yourself only getting 3 or 4 hours or even 6 hours of sleep a night, you are harming your body. Why? Because your body is not getting enough time to shut down and heal itself after a full day of activity. Not having enough rest leaves your body vulnerable to many things. Your immune system weakens and you will find yourself getting sick easier and taking a longer time to recover.

If you think your body is different and does not need that much time to heal, then you need to learn a little more about the human body. No matter what you do during the day, your body is continually working. You are burning calories, tearing your muscle tissue, and your heart is moving at a quicker pace when you are awake. You need about 7 hours of good sleep to recuperate.

Whether you are walking to the train station, running to catch the buss, or even walking to your car in the driveway each morning, your body is working, and you are breaking down your muscle tissue. Basically, when you use your muscles, you are creating small tears in the tissue itself, and the only way for these tissues to heal properly is sleep. A memory foam mattress can help you sleep well, but it is up to you to actually get in bed at a decent hour and get your 7 hours of sleep.

The thing that most people overlook is the big role your mattress plays on the quality of sleep you get every night. Your body needs to be comfortable and supportive enough for you to sleep for 7 hours without tossing and turning. You won’t wake up feeling stiff and groggy in the morning once you get a better mattress pad to sleep on. We spend almost 1/3 of our lives sleeping, so it’s a good idea to get the best mattress to get a better night’s sleep.

This is all because you do not have the proper mattress. If you mattress is too hard, there is not enough blood flowing to your muscles and to the rest of your body from your heart. This will cause muscle stiffness.

However, if your mattress is too soft your body will not receive the rigid support it needs. You will sink too deep into the bed, and your body will be all contoured, which also cuts off circulation. You will end up waking up stiff and sore.

This is why the doctors are recommending the memory foam mattress pad, because it is a clever little devil. This mattress actually molds to the shape of your body. It is not too soft, and it is not too hard, it is just right to allow the perfect amount of blood flow and the right amount of shape so that you so not wake up with stiff limbs.
